Neil is currently a senior at Columbia University in New York, majoring in political science. His passions include community service, writing and business. Between 2002 and 2004, Neil was the co-founder and director of the Greater Stamford Tennis Association's Junior Tennis Outreach Program (JTOP), a grassroots tennis initiative established to teach the game of tennis and the value the sport promotes to children. The Mickey Lione Jr. Fund provides support to the program to enable youngsters who need financial assistance to participate. Starting in high school, Neil began interviewing and profiling CEOs for the Advocate and Greenwich Time newspapers. Profiles included the chief executives of Motorola, IBM, Best Buy, Reader's Digest and ESPN. He has served as a special correspondent for eight other publications across the United States. Since coming to New York, Neil has been actively involved in Asha for Education, a non-profit organization that funds innovative educational initiatives across India. He is also the former President of the Multicultural Business Association, a student group dedicated to promoting diversity in business. In the summer of 2006, Neil worked at Compass Advisers, a boutique investment bank in New York. In the summer of 2007, he worked at Goldman Sachs Equity Research, and recently accepted a business analyst position with the firm to start work when he graduates in 2008. Neil enjoys tennis, long-distance running, public speaking and living every moment to its fullest.
