Update summer 2004
Tim Lovelace, who graduated from Westhill High School, was one of the first recipients of the Lione Award.
Lovelace was an All-Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference and All State linebacker for the Vikings. When Tim learned that he was being considered for this award, he set out to learn all he could about Coach Lione. "I am the oldest of three brothers and I have to be a role model," Lovelace said. "I wish I could have played for Mr. Lione."
Tim continues his academic career at Marist College.
