Over the course of his four years at Westhill, Michael earned varsity letters in football, baseball, basketball and wrestling, as well as three FCIAC scholar athlete awards. He was twice named 2nd team all-conference in football and became the first two-year captain under then head coach, Bill Kurtz. Off of the playing field, Michael was a member of the National Honor Society as well as a sports editor for the nationally recognized student publication, The Westword. In 2006, Michael graduated with a BA in Economics and Government from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. During his tenure Michael was a four-year letter winner and two-year starter at tight end for the Division III Polar Bears. Michael managed to end his athletic career on a high note as he was part of a class that lead the team to a 6-2 final record, including Bowdoin's first 4-0 start in over half a century. Michael
currently resides in Chicago, IL where he is working for a commodities
trading group on the floor of the CBOE. He continues to live
up to Mickey's standards of hard work and commitment to excellence. |
